I don’t know who came up with the “don’t wear white after labor day” rule. I love wearing white all winter long! It’s especially easy to wear white during this time of the year, because it transitions so well into spring. If you know how to style white properly, it can be your best friend!
I find having variety of outfits in the winter can become slim as February rolls around. I keep cycling through the same chunky sweaters and jeans (not that I’m complaining). I decided to switch it up a bit and play with some white. Let me just say, I am so ready for spring, but it is a fun challenge trying to find something different to wear in the winter.
I prefer distressed anything. All of my denim has holes and I love it. Therefore, I chose to buy my white denim distressed as well. It adds texture and uniqueness to every outfit. In the winter, I like keeping my outfits neutral for the most part, then adding a pop with accessories. Here, I chose to pair my white distressed denim with a white tee, but offset it with a light grey cardi. Then, I added the “pop” with cognac booties and crossbody bag. I absolutely love this look! In the spring, I will add more color to the outfit that will pop off of the white jeans. Now, come on spring!
