christmas at the locher’s

We are so excited for the holidays this year! Not just because of my obvious obsession with Christmastime, but also because we’ve done some recent home improvements, which makes decorating so much more fun! I absolutely love neutrals, so I decided to stick with a neutral theme upstairs for Christmas decor. There will be more coming to show off our downstairs once it’s all decorated as well. Downstairs we get a real tree, and we are going to do that next weekend after Thanksgiving. Once it’s all decorated and I put the final touches on our mantle, I will be sure to post. Check out what we have set up so far, it’s super fun and different!Read More

last halloween as a family of 3

Is it awful of me to say I’m so sad this is our last Halloween as a family of 3? Cam is getting to be such a fun age to trick or treat with and I feel that the years are just going to get better! It will be fun to add in our new addition for halloween, but I always secretly feel guilty at the same time. This year was a blast! We had my parents over for chili, drinks, and scary movies after trick or treating with Cam. Check out his amazing costume below!Read More

28 week bumpdate

DIAPER BAG // JOGGERS // TEE

Okay- I asked if you all wanted to see another bumpdate and majority said yes! I’m still being a total slacker letting 8 weeks go by since my last, but life is busy! We have had some crazy ups and downs the past couple weeks that I’ll disclose at a later time, but for now I do have something SO exciting to share about this pregnancy (well for me it is)! Read More

it’s finally fall in our home//

I have been a total slacker when it comes to decorating for the seasons. I am still trying to figure out how to decorate for Halloween and then transition to “fall decor”. It’s so hard, but I need to figure it out, especially with kids in the house now! Since it’s only September, I felt okay starting with some simple fall decor throughout the house until October comes. It’s light, airy, and cozy all at the same time!Read More

18 week bumpdate//

baby bumpCARDIGAN// TANK// JEANS

As many of you know, I have been super lax about doing a weekly bumpdate (sorry!). I have been so busy with Cam, changing jobs, and being exhausted that I just haven’t had much time or energy to relish this pregnancy. I know that sounds horrible, but it’s definitely been an adjustment! Read More

cam’s first fiesta

Cam’s first fiesta was by far one of the best days ever! First of all, he is an (early) June baby, so the weather was perfect; but the theme was EVERYTHING! I am so not a “theme girl”, but can you go wrong with cactuses, tacos, and colorful decor? No. No you cannot. Mexican Fiesta, it is! Check out this fun day!Read More

cam’s cake smash

cake smash

As we prepare for Cam’s first birthday (cue the tears), we decided to do a little fiesta-themed cake smash fun! We chose to keep our set super simple since I wanted Cam and the cactuses to stand out. My purpose is to put some of these photos in frames out for his first birthday fiesta. However, I also wanted them to put in our house as well. Therefore, I wanted to keep the set pretty neutral, but still fun.Read More
